With loads of attractions for music fans, outdoorsy types and adventure seekers, Tennessee is the perfect location for your next family vacation! From Chattanooga to Nashville, you'll find your pick of things to do - for everyone in the family. Best of all, none of these great attractions are far from budget-friendly Tennessee hotels, so you can keep your wallet in check. Here are just a few "must sees" when visiting "the Volunteer State."

o Grand Ole Opry. As the number-one attraction in Tennessee, hundreds of thousands of people trek across the world to experience this amazing Nashville show - live! While it may have begun as a simple radio show almost 85 years ago, it has turned into an American icon. A visit here shows the Opry's dedication to country music's fascinating past, present and future.

o Graceland. Put on your blue suede shoes and head to Memphis to discover all there is to know about "The King." Here, you'll experience one-of-a-kind journey through the life of Elvis Presley - from his humble childhood to his rise to fame and stardom that would change the world of music forever. A trip to Graceland gets you up-close and personal with Elvis unlike ever before. Aside from experiencing the building itself, you'll find several interactive features like videos, photos, memorabilia and costumes. Best of all, Graceland is also located near several affordable Tennessee hotels.

o Rock City. Just a short, six-mile jaunt from downtown Chattanooga, a stunning marvel of nature awaits. Rock City is located atop Lookout Mountain and boasts breathtaking rock formations, picturesque gardens with hundreds of native plants and unmatched panoramic views. From Enchanted Trail, a woodland path packed with natural beauty, to the awesome Fairyland Caverns and Mother Goose Village, this is the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors all year long. Visitors will also find gift shops loaded with great souvenirs, as well as Big Rock Grill, a nice spot to grab a bite while visiting.

o Dollywood. Dubbed as a one-of-a-kind Smoky Mountain Family Adventure, this 125-acre theme park in Pigeon Forge, near Gatlinburg, is a top family destination. From exciting rides, like the award-winning wooden roller coaster "The Thunderhead," to kiddie rides for even the littlest ones in your brood, there's no shortage of fun and adventure to be had. Plus, with more than a dozen stage shows featuring top country, bluegrass, mountain and gospel music artists, you can dance the day away or just take a break between rides.

o Tennessee Aquarium. Located on the Chattanooga Riverfront, this amazing aquarium will take visitors from the depths of the Gulf of Mexico to the top of an Appalachian forest. It features thousands of animals, as well as living forests that let guests experience life above - and below - the water's surface. From the popular penguins to the colorful butterfly garden, you could spend hours exploring this great family-friendly attraction.

o Incline Railway. Also located in Chattanooga, the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway has been nicknamed "America's Most Amazing Mile" for a reason. This National Historic Site and National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark has been around since 1895 and takes adventurers on trolley-style railcars high into the clouds along the steepest passenger tracks in the world. Of course, the views from the observation windows and the observation tower at the top station are absolutely stunning - on a clear day you can see over 100 miles away to the Great Smoky Mountains. You'll also be able to learn a little about Civil War history, grab a bite at the Incline Railway diner and pick up a souvenir at the gift shop.
